MLB celebrates Jackie Robinson

"Each year, Jackie Robinson Day is an occasion for us to pause and reflect on the game's proudest and most powerful moment," said Commissioner Bud Selig. "Jackie's legacy is as strong and vibrant as ever throughout Major League Baseball. I am proud that the No. 42, which has come to stand for Jackie's courage and grace, will again be worn in honor of our game's greatest pioneer."

While the Cubs(C) may not be playing in Wrigley Field today we honor an amazing man who was not only a great baseball player but a great person with a strength most of us can't imagine.

Big Z stings Astros

The Cubs(C) racked up a win against the Astros(C) yesterday with Carlos Zambrano's performance in the batter's box as well as on the mound. Good work guys! Keep it up for your return to Wrigley Field on Monday! Eamus Catuli!

Cubs need a little encouragement

With the win over the Astros(C) yesterday our Chicago Cubs(C) are at 500 for the season. Let's give them a little encouragement as they take on the Astros(C) again today with a rousing rendition of Steve Goodman's "Go Cubs Go".
