Friday, February 25, 2011 Promising reports from Spring TrainingReports coming out of Mesa show a promising outlook for Spring Training and beyond. The newest Cubs(C) are settling in, veterans are taking the younger guys under their wings, and Coach Quade has the support of the entire team. When the boys return to Wrigley this spring we're going to see something very special.

If you run into him on the street help him out by shaking his left hand. We can't wait to see if all his hard work pays off come April 1st for the home opener at Wrigley Field.

Eamus Catuli! Monday, February 21, 2011 A little rain doesn't stop first batting practiceThe Cubs(C) got in their first batting practice yesterday in Mesa, despite the rain. While most of us would consider getting fastballs thrown at us in the rain a little crazy, manager Mike Quade decided it was dedication. Let's hope that dedication carries over to the regular season. It will definitely make for some fun game in Wrigley.
