Friday, February 04, 2011 Is there such a thing as too many pitchers? When the pitchers and catchers report to Mesa for Spring Training on February 13th new pitching coach Mark Riggins will have more than 10 pitchers to evaluate. Is having that many pitchers putting too many eggs in one basket? Are the Cubs(c) relying on pitching too much to win and not enough on the other positions? Baseball is a team sport, games aren't just won or lost by the pitchers. When the Cubs(c) start the season in Wrigley Field will they already be at a disadvantage?
Thursday, February 03, 2011 Are you ready for some football? While most of us here in Chicago will be more interested in digging our cars our of the snow this Sunday than watching the Super Bowl, we'd like to take this opportunity to say GO STEELERS! Too bad the Bears don't play in Wrigley Field anymore, that would have been awesome. Wednesday, February 02, 2011 The great blizzard of 2011!Wrigley Field lost a section of its roof yesterday from the high winds. The Club has faired just fine so far (but the knee-deep snow on the front steps was so not fun).
